Baby Shower!

Last Saturday, My family threw me a baby shower. I got so many cute things! I think I have everything I need now. I think my baby has more clothes than I do! Thanks to everyone for coming, it was so much fun! I can't believe I only have 3 weeks left.

A New Pet?

When my dad, stepmom and family came over last night we found this poor little duck lying on it's back on my sidewalk just shaking. We thought maybe it was hurt so we picked it up and wrapped it in a towel. There are always lots of ducks in the stream by my house so we went to see if we could find it's mom, but we couldn't. It didn't seem to be too hurt, so my dad took it home to try to get it healthy because we couldn't just put it into the water! It couldn't even get off of it's back -how was it going to survive on it's own? When they got it home they said that it followed their dog everywhere! and when the dog layed down the duck would climb on top of it to cuddle. I think the duck thinks the dog is it's mom! CUTE!

30 Weeks

Oh don't I look miserable. I feel like I look so tired and puffy! Which I am. She is laying so high up in my ribs! Sometimes my stomach looks almost cone shaped because I think she sticks her bum out right where my belly button is. It's scary to think we only have about 10 weeks left.Yikes! I don't feel ready at all. We are one step closer though...We bought a stroller Yay! It's a jeep jogging stroller....originally $160, and guess how much I paid, $49.04!!! I couldn't pass it up. It even has a plug for my ipod and lots of other cool features. I love finding bargains.

3D UltraSound

At my doctor's appointment today we got to have a 3D ultrasound. It was soo amazing. I told Clay it would be kind of funny if we found out it was really a boy, but nope still a girl,-We saw a pretty good shot! Thank goodness. She kept yawning, puckering her lips, stretching and waving. We had the doctor, a med student, and the nurse all in the room with us because they wanted to watch. I had the glucose test today and it was normal along with everything else, they still said my blood pressure was a little high but they weren't too worried about it.

just about 26 Weeks!

It was exciting for Clay to feel our baby kick for the first time a few weeks ago, and now we feel & see her move all the time! It is so much fun to get kicked in the bladder all night long. I have been sleeping a lot better & feeling great since the visit to the chiropractor. We have been working on getting our house more organized so we have more space for all the baby stuff. Clay has gotten really good at making French Toast....that's all I ever want to eat for breakfast lunch or dinner.

My invitation business keeps me very busy while Clay is at school 3 nights a week. He is also on a city softball team that plays once a week. They have a pretty good team. I love watching him play. He is such a hard worker! He is going to be such a good daddy. He is always worried about me and takes good care of me. He will actually watch A Baby Story with me now but he just laughs at me because I can't help but cry every single time I watch it, along with any other show. I think he gets a little emotional too...he just won't show it.

We had a good Easter....poor Clay, I abandoned him on Easter Day to go to WICKED with Joey, Sahra, Kamy, Jalayne, & Mike.....I LOVED IT! I am sure Clay did fine without me watching baseball. (That's what's always on our tv now)

I guess that's it for the last couple weeks!

My New Rocking Chair!

Thank you sooo much to everyone who went in on my rocking chair! I love it! It is so comfortable and it will be so nice when I rock a baby to sleep every night or when I fall asleep in it myself! It reclines all the way back, it's microfiber, and it is perfect. This picture is the one off the website, I am way to lazy to get out of the rocking chair and take a picture of it.
